This is a key role in ensuring smooth, efficient processes across our accounts receivable and maintaining strong, respectful relationships with our customers

Why This Role?

We’re looking for a part-time Credit Controller to join our team. You’ll be responsible for following up on overdue accounts and help to maintain healthy cash flow for the company. You’ll work closely with our finance and sales teams to ensure that communication with clients remains professional, consistent and solution-focused. Our approach to credit control is firm, fair and customer friendly.

What You’ll Do

You’ll assist in:

  • Managing and monitoring overdue customer accounts. 

  • Proactively contact customers by phone, email or letter to arrange payment or discuss outstanding balances. 

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all communications and payment activity through our CRM. 

  • Work with internal teams to resolve billing queries and discrepancies.

  • Prepare regular reports on collection status and outstanding debt. 

  • Supporting KPI’s such as reducing overdue accounts, improving debtor days and keeping timely, accurate CRM notes.

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in credit control, accounts receivable or debt collection. 

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, firm but customer-friendly. 

  • Strong attention to detail and good record keeping. 

  • Comfortable working independently and managing your own workload. 

  • Familiarity with SaaS billing system and CRMs (e.g. Xero and Pipedrive) is a plus but not a necessity. 

  • Experience using Gmail, Google Sheets/Excel and phone-based outreach is beneficial.

What You’ll Get

  • Flexible part-time  hours (approx 19 hours a week (to be agreed with the successful candidate) with availability between 9am - 5pm to support customer outreach and internal coordination).
